STPPA #6 Welcome and Introduction

Abstract. Welcome to the 6^th event of the Special Topics on Privacy and Public Auditability (STPPA). This presentation introduces the context of the PEC project and the STPPA series, and gives details about the STPPA6 event, which includes talks about various efforts (e.g., by HomomorphicEncryption, MPCAlliance, ZKProof, ETSI, CRFR and ISO) for standardization or development of reference material about advanced cryptographic techniques (such as FHE, MPC, ZKP, ABE, PAKE and threshold cryptography). The presentation also explains the alignment of these topics and the upcoming NIST First Call for Multi-Party Threshold Schemes.
