Directions to NIST
From the Washington Beltway, take I-270 to Frederick. Exit 270 at Exit
10, Rt.117 and Clopper Rd.
- Administration Bldg.: Bear right at end of exit (traffic light) . At the next light, turn
left onto NIST campus. Move to right lane and proceed to the Visitor
Center to obtain badge. Proceed right out of the Visitor Center parking
lot and turn left at the stop sign onto North Drive. You are going to
the high rise that will be visible as you come in the gate. Proceed
to the first intersection and turn left, and immediately turn right
into the large parking lot in front the Administration Building and
park. Go into the front entrance and turn left into the first corridor.
The lecture rooms are along this corridor, or the corridor that
parallels it, and the two auditoriums are at the end of the corridor.
From Frederick, MD, take I-270
to Washington, and exit at exit 11-B, Route 124 & Quince Orchard Rd.
- Administration Bldg.: Go on Quince Orchard Rd. to the third light and turn left into the NIST
Campus and onto North Drive. You are going to the high rise building
that will be visible as you come in the gate. Proceed to the second
intersection and turn left, and immediately turn right into the large
parking lot in front of the Administration Building and park. Go into
the front entrance and turn left into the first corridor. The lecture
rooms are along this corridor, or the corridor that parallels it,
and the two auditoriums are at the end of the corridor.
