Private Sector Group Behavior in the Simulation
Serious distrust of government group. Feared government regulation and heavy-handedness, especially in light of government response to an early power grid failure (resulting in immediate regulation with no consultation with industry). Most serious concern was over information sharing.
Major internal divisions as well: group members tried to divert one of their own troublesome members by clandestinely implicating him in criminal behavior. Government group unintentionally aided this by launching several investigations of this member.
Couldn’t respond to most of the events in the scenario, but did use them in their threat assessment in their final group paper.
