Protect, Defend, and Restore the integrity and availability of the essential elements and applications of the DII under the full spectrum of conflict in support of
- Identify and resolve computer security anomalies that affect the DII’s ability to support NCA elements, Joint Staff and Supported CINCs
- Identify significant threats to the DII. Develop, disseminate and implement countermeasures to these threats in a timely manner.
- Assess the incidents individually and cumulatively
- Coordinate the response actions across DoD
- Serve as the technical advisors to the JTF-CND
