Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT )
In 1988, the effects from the Morris Worm brought about the Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) through Carnegie Mellon. OMB A130 enacted CSIRT for government agencies.
FDIC CSIRT began operation in June 1999. It provides technical assistance with investigative reporting of security incidents and vulnerabilities of FDIC Information Systems.
