The Validated Products List (formerly called the Validated Processor List) is a collection of registers describing implementations of Federal Information Processing Standards (FTPS) that have been validated for conformance to FTPS. The Validated Products List also contains information about the organizations, test methods and procedures that support the validation programs for the FTPS identified in this document. The Validated Products List is updated quarterly.
Section 7 indicates that NIST validates products for compliance with the Data Encryption Standard (DES; FIPS 46-1) and Message Authentication Code (MAC; FIPS 113), using the validation tests described in NBS Special Publication 500-61 and SP 500-156, respectively. Validated products lists will be available for these standards starting with the next Validated Products List (NISTIR 4820).
