Version 1.03 fixes the following identified bugs:

After completing the last question (17.1.9), saving to the database, and returning to question 17.1.9, the current version does not save the results of the last question. Version 1.0.3 fixes this problem.

If you mark a topic area as having a policy and a question of one of the critical elements within that topic area as Not Applicable, the summary table of the current version will mark that question as having reached the Policy level. Version 1.03 changes ASSET so that any question that was marked as Not Applicable will result in the level being set to None. In the calculation of the level for the critical element, Not Applicable questions still do not count towards the final level.

When all questions in a critical element are marked as Not Applicable in the current version, ASSET shows the critical element as having reached the Policy level (if policy was set for that major section on the policy tab). Version 1.0.3 now shows the level of the critical element as None.

The changes from version 1.01 to version 1.03 will not change the results of the data in any existing assessments. It simply changes the way ASSET behaves.

To upgrade from the installed ASSET version 1.01 to 1.03, download the ASSET_1.03.zip file, extract the readme.txt file, and follow the instructions to replace asset.jar file.

ASSET is a custom application, it is important to read Section 3 of the ASSET User Manual for unique system requirements and installation information BEFORE you install ASSET. Please download and read Section 3 of the User Manual first.

  Suggested TIP for printing: This document has 75 pages (including the cover, table of contents, and Appendix A-C). When attempting to print out the User Manual, best thing to do is to break the print job into smaller parts. Reason being - this document contains many detailed and fine graphics which requires a lot of memory to print.
