First AES Candidate Conference (AES1)

This conference was held in Ventura, California, on August 20-22, 1998, to kick-off Round 1 of the AES Development Effort. An overview of AES1 is available from the NIST Journal of Research.

NIST's slides are available from Day 1 and Day 2 of the conference.
